Latrell Foreclosure

Looks like Latrell's having some problems.

Former New York Knicks star Latrell Sprewell may lose his Purchase mansion to foreclosure after failing to make mortgage payments, according to court filings.

Sprewell, 39, purchased the 3.3-acre Purchase Street property in January 2000 for $2.3 million. This year, the town assessed it at $5.4 million.

Sprewell got a 30-year Washington Mutual Bank mortgage for $1,612,000 in 2004 and first failed to make payments in April 2008, according to court documents. Deutsche Trustee Co. Limited is listed as the plaintiff in foreclosure proceeding filings.

I used to live 10 minutes from this area in Purchase, NY.  I actually went to college at SUNY Purchase.  The houses there are absurd to say the least.  Absolutely spectacular.  Maybe he should've signed that one last contract the T-Wolves gave him so he could feed his family.
