Danny Ainge may not see the humor in Terry Rozier's playful tweets

Is it the weather? This has been a weird day in the NBA. First we find Markelle Fultz may be off to see a shoulder specialist for his broken shot, as prompted by his agent-attorney. Now we are seeing weird tweets from Terry Rozier.

Terry simply isn't having a good time this season. The two injured players are back (Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward), and T-Ro's minutes and production have plummeted from his post-season highs last year. In last season's playoffs, he averaged 36.6 MPG, 16.5 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 5.7 APG, 1.3 SPG and 41/35/82 shooting percentages from the field, beyond the arc and free throw line, respectively. Not even close this season.

He is down to 23.2 MPG, 8.4 PPG, 4.4 RPG and 2.1 APG, with shooting percentages of 37/35/73. This is not what Terry wanted. he has made it clear that he wants to be a starter in the NBA, which he was for Boston in the post-season.

So, what does this one mean? Oh, just fooling around guys - is that what he means. Working under The Trade Mogul, Danny Ainge, a player needs a sense of humor, and Terry has shown it in the past.

Is T-Ro playing with us? You bet! He is following Kyrie Irving's lead on that. But he means it. He starred in last season's strong playoff run, and he wants a larger role - on the Celtics or elsewhere. John Wall and Bradley Beal may be on the market. Rozier does not have their star power or value - at least not yet. If last season's playoffs were an indication, he may be a potential star if given a primary role. And could I add that Danny does not take such game-playing lightly. Ainge was a jokester as a player. Not so as the boss.
