Per ESPN: Anthony Davis parts ways with agent, igniting fresh trade speculation

It was about time, wasn't it - no Anthony Davis trade rumors in a while. ESPN has reported that sources indicate Pelicans star Anthony Davis has parted with his long-time agent, Thad Foucher.

The same anonymous sources indicate that Rich Paul of Klutch Sports may be in line for the job. Paul also represents Lebron James who is presently with the Lakers, so we can expect suggestions that LA may be a final landing spot for The Brow.

Davis will not be a free agent until the 2020-21 season, at the earliest, and a trade with Boston is always a possibility. Danny Ainge will never pass up an opportunity to improve his team, but for right now, training camp starts in a few weeks and the Celtics are loaded with talent. Ainge has expertly placed the Celtics in a position of power and stability. He may not want to rock the boat.
