Watch: Why did Stevens get snubbed by his peers for their COY award?

One of these days, Brad Stevens will get the hardware he's after, and I am pretty sure it's not the NBA Coaches Association Coach of the Year award.

For those of you who have missed it, the internal award from the coaches' association was just awarded to now-unemployed Dwayne Casey - formerly of the Toronto Raptors - summarily fired and getting the George Karl treatment.

Something tells me Dwayne won't be writing books that trash everyone he's ever worked with, but the question of why Brad did not even get one vote for this award remains.

Why the lack of love for Stevens among his peers? Jealousy? Youth? Something else?
