Watch: these videos if you're sick of Warriors-Cavs in the NBA finals
OK, OK, it's not as bad as these videos make it out to be.
But, sometimes it feels like the dystopian future/groundhog day/cartoon nightmare depicted in the videos below is exactly the timeline we've been living in for...how many years now?
I know there's something of the pot calling the kettle black, as the saying goes, given the Boston Celtics were exactly this in the 1960s and early 1970s. Quite a few fan bases probably wanted to puke every time they stumbled across a Bill Russell article, or saw yet another bill featuring a finals duel between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Celts.
But you know what? I don't care. Those contests were, for the most part, pretty close and entertaining, and while you can make a case the previous iterations of Warriors-Cavs weren't too bad, this one is just going to be awful.
Maybe it's the sting of elimination coloring my perspective, but this Finals matchup is looking like it will be about as fun as being a fan of NCAA women's basketball but not the UConn Huskies. Don't get me wrong, I like watching LeBron James lose - but there will be no joy in this loss, at least for me.
