Proving your doubters wrong has to be one of the best feelings there is.
This meeting between the Boston Celtics and Philadelphia 76ers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals was probably the first of many in the coming years.
The two teams, part of an ages-old NBA rivalry that seems to be rejuvenated as both teams wrap up their respective rebuilds, fought a close battle in every game of the series, and will likely each take significant steps forward in the offseason.
This season, however, victory went to Boston, despite many significant injuries taking key players off the table for the Celtics, and others slowing the ability of players still capable of taking the court.
For many, this was a surprise, as many NBA media analysts and even Las Vegas oddsmakers favored the healthier 76ers squad to take the series, usually in six or even five games. Little did they know the latter guess was correct - for the other team.
