Gordon Hayward is reportedly working with a running specialist in Indianapolis, per NBC Boston's Abby Chin.
Now before we all have a collective party about his imminent return, let me go ahead and note this does not mean Hayward will be back on the court any time soon.
But he is making significant progress in his recovery, and will not be travelling with the team for at least the short-term future while he works his way back into shape. So, if you've wondered where he's been, now you have the scoop.
Gordon will be teaming up with a running mechanics specialist now that he's progressed to jogging, and while he's still seen as doubtful to return this season, this is welcome news indeed.
