NBA Agent Dan Fegan killed in auto accident

Longtime high-profile NBA agent Dan Fegan was killed in a car crash in Colorado yesterday, per multiple reports.
Fegan, who represented some of the league's biggest stars in a career stretching back more than 20 years, was killed after his SUV was hit by a passenger bus. His five-year-old son and an unnamed woman travelling with him were airlifted to a nearby hospital for emergency treatment, where they are now in serious condition.
Dan's career included several former Boston Celtics, including Antoine Walker, Jason Terry and Kris Humphries in addition to stars like DeMarcus Cousins, Chandler Parsons, Monta Ellis and Shawn Marion, though in recent years his client base shrank as he spent more time with his young son. He had a connection with Danny Ainge, who he turned to for help when his brother needed treatment for cancer (per ESPN):

"I just remember Dan very emotionally talking to me about getting whatever help we could provide his family in getting his brother into Mass General [a hospital in Boston] as quickly as possible for treatment ... He cared so deeply about helping his brother."

...said Ainge of Fegan's passing. He touched many other lives around the league, from the head of the NBA player's association Michelle Roberts to the owner of the Dallas Mavericks, Mark Cuban, joining his many former clients, friends, and peers in lamenting his untimely passing on social media and in the press.

He was 56.
