NBA moving trade deadline up to 10 days before All-Star game (video)

The NBA's Board of Governors has decided to move the NBA trade deadline forward, to ten days before the All-Star Game (February 8th).



The move, prompted as much by the awkwardness it has caused in recent All-Star players discovering they'd been traded during the games as from an effort to separate and therefore maximize coverage for both the deadline and All-Star week events is discussed in detail in the above video by Sports Illustrated's SI Wire.
