This news came out almost immediately after the Gordon Hayward announced his intentions to come to Boston. Olynyk is reportedly gathering a lot of interest around the league tonight and should make out well. He was a solid player for the Celtics, but you have to clear the cap space.

The Celtics will now look to deal one of Avery Bradley, Jae Crowder or Marcus Smart to make additional room to sign Hayward. And let's be honest, with Hayward and Jayson Tatum joining the C's and with an expanded role expected for Jaylen Brown there aren't minutes for all three anyway. Picking which one to part with will be tough, but it will also depend on who garners the best return.
