Video: Celtics draftee Marcus Thornton drills 7 threes in Australian preseason game

The Celtics chose William and Mary's Marcus Thornton 45th overall in last June's draft, but with no space for him on Boston's roster Thornton decided to take his talents to Australia this season and play for the Sydney Kings of the NBL.

In an 89-76 preseason victory over the Perth Wildcats, Thornton led the way with 24 points, including seven three-pointers:



Thornton has some serious ups on his jumper (not sure if that's a good thing or not).  Fellow NBA import Josh Childress also scored 20 for Syndey.  Here's the box score.
