Is his D-League debut in Maine last night, a 110-106 Red Claws victory over the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, Marcus Smart had six points, five rebounds, seven assists and four steals. Not bad numbers if you ignore his 1-for-12 from the field and 0-for-8 from beyond the arc. On the other hand, James Young went 7-for-10 from three point land and poured in 31 points:
Despite his poor shooting, Smart did manage to have the "Play of the Day," a late assist to Dwight Powell (who scored 21 of his own) that put Maine ahead for good:
