Vitor Faverani is back in Spain getting a second opinion on his injured knee

The Vitor Faverani news updates haven't been very positive of late.  First there was the alleged drunk driving arrest back in August.  Then Vitor missed the player introductions at the Celtics open practice (although Brad Stevens said he was just in the training room).  And now this:

The Celtics signed off on Faverani's trip home, and sent their own medical representative along with him.  But why would Vitor think he'll get a more accurate diagnosis in Spain?  Via Chris Forsberg of ESPN Boston, Stevens said:

You'd have to ask him and [team trainer] Ed [Lacerte] and [team physician Brian] McKeon. I think it was just he wanted another opinion and comfort level and everything else. Our docs are great for a lot of reasons and one of the reasons is because they want to get these guys the most comfort and as much insight as possible. That's why he's over there.
We're going to find out more [Sunday]. He's getting a second opinion [Sunday]. If that second opinion comes back that he needs extra work, then he would potentially have a clean-up type of surgery again on his knee on Monday. But that will not be determined until that second opinion happens.

Call it a hunch, but I get the feeling Vitor may not be that happy in Boston these days.  No word yet on what his second opinion revealed.
