According to the Immortal Woj, Chris Babb is sticking around for at least the rest of the season.
The Boston Celtics will sign Chris Babb to a multi-year contract, a league source tells Yahoo Sports. His second 10-day deal ends today.— Adrian Wojnarowski (@WojYahooNBA) March 20, 2014
No details yet on the contract, but expect it to be a similar deal that Chris Johnson signed, with no guaranteed money after this season.
Babb has been a nice addition to the bench and looks really hungry to prove himself. He was certainly hoping to stay in Boston, and now he gets his wish.
Don't get too excited about his future prospects in green, however, as he'll most likely be cut or traded in the offseason. For now though, good for him.
