Paul Pierce has a HUGE game as Brooklyn takes down Miami

Paul Pierce was absolutely in the zone tonight as Brooklyn got a huge one point win in Miami 96-95 and the Nets have won eight of their last ten.

Appropriately, both teams were wearing their nickname jerseys and "The Truth" more than lived up to his moniker. The former Celtic captain led all scorers finishing with 29 on 9-12 shooting including five for seven from deep as Miami continues to look for answers.

The Captain went especially crazy in the third where he had 17 of his 29 on 5-5 shooting including three triples.

The Big 3 for Miami combined for 23-38 shooting and 65 points but it was not enough to offset Pierce's brilliance.

Shaun Livngston also had a very productive game for the Nets scoring 13 grabbing seven boards and dishing out four assists in 38 minutes.

Kevin Garnett sat out again with back spasms but is expected back very soon and Ray Allen had an ultra rough night for Miami finishing with a single point.
