Indiana outpaced the Celtics tonight 102 to 97 at the TD Garden. What was supposed to be not much of a contest between the NBA leading Pacers and the bottom-dwelling Celtics turned into a really entertaining game. This was Jared Sullinger's first game returning to the court from his concussion, and he came off the bench for the Green. The Pacers boast one of the best benches in the league, and it helped them build a lead over Boston in the first half. The C’s hustled and fought their way to only a 7 point deficit going into the locker room.

The Green battled back in the 3rd quarter on the back of Jeff Green and Kris Humphries to a 2 point lead going into the final frame. However Evan Turner dominated the fourth, getting to the basket at will. Paul George also stepped up and scored a few clutch baskets to add to the lead. Down the stretch the Pacers showed why they’re the cream of the crop in the league, putting the pedal to the metal to secure the win.

The leading scorer for the Celtics was Jeff Green who finished with 27 points, but the MVP for the team in Green was Humphries. He dropped 18 points and snagged 10 rebounds, just taking over the game throughout. The high scorers for the Pacers were Paul George with 25 and Evan Turner with 17.

The Celtics look to get back after it 7 PM Wednesday night versus the Warriors at the Garden.
