Game Recap: Celtics beat Bobcats 96-86

Don’t look now but another streak could be forming as the Celtics won their second game in a row by defeating the Charlotte Bobcats 96 - 86.

In a game that started sloppy and got incredibly competitive, this was a great game by two teams struggling to find their identity in the 2013-14 Eastern Conference.

The first quarter got off to a very shaky start as both teams combined to shoot 15-41 from the field- the Celtics were 28.6%.

In one of the better continuing storylines of the 2013-14 season, Jordan Crawford is turning to into a go-to-guy for the Young Gun Celtics. Crawford knocked down consecutive three-point shots to help the C’s keep the lead heading into halftime.

While frustrating at times thus far this season, this Celtics team responds extremely well to adversity. With Kelly Olynyk sitting out, the door was open for Vitor Faverani and Kris Humphries to step up, which they both did in the 4th helping the C’s open up the quarter with a 9-0 run.

In addition to phenomenal play by Jordan Crawford and Phil Pressey, Courtney Lee was on fire tonight at one point scoring 11 points in 12 minutes on the floor.
