Video: Red Sox fan Gerald Wallace attends Game 1 at Fenway

Gerald Wallace said he was a big Sox and Pats fan. Well there he was today at Fenway. Wallace is one of those players I would have loved to have had as a Celtics about 5 years ago. He can still serve a purpose as a veteran leader on this Celtics team. Also, no one has ever doubted Wallace's efoort night in and night out. There's a reason why he earned the nickname "Crash." Hopefully he can be a strong influence on Jeff Green professionally. Green has the athletic talent, but motor and consistency have been issues, as even Coach Stevens has observed. With the loss of KG, some of the younger Celtics need a vet around. If Wallace serves that role, he'll earn some of his handsome contract.
