Where is Gerald Wallace?

It's been a little more than two months now since the least inspiring photo-op of all time.  Missing from the picture taken back in July is Gerald Wallace (although he is in the photo above).  At the time he was said to be busy with his basketball camp.  According to Danny Ainge, Wallace is still missing.  Quotes via WEEI's Ben Rohrbach:
“I’m anxious to meet Gerald. I’ve met him before when I was doing television, but I haven’t had much conversation with him. He’s really the only one, but he’ll be in town I think next week, so we’ll be watching closely and will sit down. It’s a nightmare trying to get a hold of players in the summertime, I was the same way when I was a player.”

Admittedly, this might be nothing.  Ainge is definitely saying the right thing by claiming it's no big deal.  And for all we know Wallace could show up next week, be a model citizen, play hard all season, and actually earn the $10 million Boston will pay him this year.  But does anybody really think that is what's going to happen?

Vitor Faverani is here from Brazil.  Kelly Olynyk has been showing his face all over the city.  Even Kris Humphries was spotted in C's workout gear at Whole Foods in Charlestown the other day.  Meanwhile Gerald Wallace is nowhere to be found.

Recently I chose Wallace to be the LVP (least valuable player) of the 2013-2014 Celtics, and so far he is right on schedule.  I really hope I'm wrong.  I'd be thrilled if we saw the guy who was once an All-Star in Charlotte become a go-to scoring option for this team.  But so far his first (and second) impression are far from encouraging.
