Danny Ainge says the death of Avery Bradley's mother could cause him to miss some of training camp

"He's [Avery Bradley] going through a very difficult time," Danny Ainge, Boston's president of basketball operations, told CSNNE.com. "His mother passed away and they were very close and he's expecting a baby any day. He's got a lot going on."
When asked if Bradley might be late to training camp, Ainge responded, "I don't know. We're just taking it day-by-day right now."

Bradley's mother Alicia Jones passed away on September 10th, she was 46 years old.  Obviously this is a very difficult time for Bradley, and hopefully the joy of a new baby can help him cope with the loss of his mother.

There are a variety of ways you can interpret this quote from Ainge.  It's not as if he stated on his own that Bradley might miss some time, he just didn't rule it out when the question was asked of him.  My guess is Ainge doesn't actually expect Bradley to be late for next month's training camp, he's just saying the right thing.
