Avery Bradley's mother passes away

Extremely sad news for Celtics star Avery Bradley and his family.

There have been plenty of cryptic tweets sent out recently wishing Bradley and his family well. We did not know the reason, other than that it was a family issue, until now.

It's been reported by John Karalis that Bradley's mother has unfortunately passed away. Jason Terry also revealed the news in a tweet this morning. The reason for her passing is not yet clear.

Bradley has been a fantastic player in his career so far, but even more so a staple in the community. Boston fans feel for his loss and extend our deepest sympathies to him and his entire family during this trying time.
