Quantcast

This is one of the craziest endings to a basketball game I've ever seen. The Mount Vernon player throws the ball in the air as the clock expires (so he thinks), but a New Rochelle player intercepts it and launches a three quarters court shot for the win. So a deflection, two steals, and a shot in less than 3 seconds if you're keeping score at home. Both teams celebrate like they've won. Notice how quick those refs got off the court after announcing the made basket? You know part of that half court deliberation was on an exit strategy.

So what do you think? Did the New Rochelle player get the shot off in time? Is this the wildest finish you've ever seen to a basketball game or do you have other examples that trump it? If you do, feel free to share them in the comments section.
