Kevin Garnett out against Bobcats with strained thigh, expected to be back Monday vs Heat

As you have probably noticed, Kevin Garnett isn't playing tonight against the Bobcats due to a strained thigh muscle and Jeff Green started in his place

According to Doc Rivers, KG isn't expected to be out any longer than one game. This is good news because we will need him Monday when the Celtics take on the Miami Heat.

From NBA.com:

Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett will miss Saturday night's game against Charlotte with a strained left thigh muscle.

Celtics coach Doc Rivers told reporters before the game that the 17-year veteran didn't look good in practice on Friday, so the team decided to sit him.

"Kevin's not playing tonight," Rivers said. "Not because it's a night off, just because he wasn't running well at practice."

When asked if he expected it to be longer, Rivers said, "No, I don't think so."
