Update on the waiver watch - C's on Hollins' list

Two of the Celtics targets, Ronny Turiaf (Miami) and JJ Hickson (Blazers) are off the market. Boris Diaw (not that we really want him) has the Spurs and Suns at the top of his list.

When Portland signed JJ Hickson, they also waived Mehmet Okur, who might make a good target for the Celtics.   Rumors are that the Celtics are also interested in Kyrylo Fesenko.  He has been out the entire season so far after having knee surgery in the off season.  He is 7'1" and a very big body and when he is healthy is a very, very good defender.  He is also very bad on the offensive end.  His health would be a big consideration since he hasn't played this season.    The latest word is that the Celtics top another big man's wish list.

Hollins is a 7 footer who averaged 3.7 points and 2.3 rebounds in 15 minutes for the Cavs. Not tremendous stats, but he has been in the league 5 years and would give us another big body and 6 more fouls. Also, he reportedly worked out with Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett during the lockout.   Hopefully we won't stop with just Hollins and Danny will look for another big that can round out the bench and give us some depth.  The Herald is reporting that Danny plans to sign a power forward along with Hollins if he clears waivers.
