Rondo injured in rout of Raptors: BOS 96 TOR 73

Rajon Rondo was flagrant fouled by Linas Kleiza towards the end of the third quarter and landed hard on his right wrist. He shot the two free throws from the foul but was then brought to the locker room. He did not return.

The Celtics had control of the game from the start, hovering around a 10 point lead for most of the first half before pulling away after half time. They led by as much as 27, ending the game with a 96-73 victory.

Rajon Rondo led all scorers with 21 points but a career low two assists. Kevin Garnett added 15 points and seven rebounds. Brandon Bass had 13 points and 9 boards off the bench and continues to be one of the Celtics' best and most consistent players. Mickael Pietrus had 12 points, nailing 4-of-7 from three-point range.

The Raptors were led in scoring by Umass alum, Gary Forbes, who had 18 points off the bench.

The win snaps a five game losing streak for the Celtics who improve to 5-8. The Raptors lose their sixth straight and fall to 4-11.
