I noticed when Danny started discussing rotations he failed to mention Von Wafer. I have to believe that the backup shooting guard spot is Delonte's to lose. With that said, he'll miss the first ten games, which will give others opportunities.

Mentioned playing DW with Paul and Ray. There you have it. Rondo-can't shoot. Robinson--can't defend taller points, and is challenged defensively because of height.

DW can shoot, defend, and is taller than rondo and robinson combined (just kidding).

DW will get some PT with the starters.

Question is how soon will that PT be down the stretch?

I meant to add that robinson is more of a streaky shooter than DW too.

  3. And he shoots 82% on Free throws over his career and 85% in the playoffs. If Rondo starts to be gun shy at the end of games cause he is afraid of getting fouled like he did last season, West is a great alternative for the end of games. He can handle the ball under pressure, can defend AND can hit his free throws.

The prototypical 3rd guard that the Celtics haven't had while competitive since Jerry Sichting. Come playoff time I expect there to be 3 guards played. West is better than Nate and Wafer. Give Paul's back up minutes to Marquis and Wafer.

Can not wait for this season to start!

Ummm...let's not count chickens before they hatch. Delonte faces a long road back from his mental illness, whereas Rondo is our best player. So I'm pretty sure Rondo will be closing most games...
