Didn't get to see the 4th quarter tonight because of TNT's decision to cut to the Portland-Phoenix game because the Celtics game was a blowout.  This is unacceptable.  Here is my complaint letter to TNT:

Ticket Information:
Ticket #:5450-5035366
Date Created:4/20/2010 10:42 PM EDT
Details: It is an atrocity that I pay money for League Pass to watch every minute of every regular season NBA game, then you have the audacity at your whim to decide which game is aired on TNT. The Celtics were supposed to play tonight- the Suns-Blazers game is on NBA TV. Just because the Celtics game is a blowout I'm not able to watch the entire 4th quarter? The other game is ALREADY on another channel.

Please STOP doing this- there's no reason for it.

The most important games of the season are the playoff games and I don't care if it's not a competitive game. Every game is slated to appear on a particular channel so it'd be nice if that game REMAINS on that channel like it should, regardless of the score. Stop worrying about ratings or what fans might find entertaining and realize there's a fanbase of devoted Celtics fans out there right now that are very upset with your decision not to air the 4th quarter of the biggest game of the season to date, regardless of the score.

A VERY disgruntled fan,

Please write a complaint to Turner Sports here.

EXCELLENT. It was disgusting - it was on Comcast Sports Net in the Boston area, but I had been watching it on TNT and could NOT believe they switched... when games ran over last year, didn't they put one of them on TBS until the first game was finished? I was able to watch the rest of the game because of CSN, but that's simply not the point - if it's on the schedule, it should be aired for the entire length of the game. I'm sending a complaint; thanks for the link, TB.

Do you have an email address or webpage? Can't find anything but FAQ's.

Anonymous just click on where it says "how do I contact TNT"- there's several steps after that. They add several steps to make it somewhat cumbersome for you to contact them but you'll figure it out.

Margaret- I'm not sure TNT's ever done that, which is why I've complained so much about them in the past. ESPN will throw the start of a second game on ESPN Classic normally and they'll NEVER cut away from an entire game like they did last night.

The thing is it made no sense- the Portland-Phoenix game was in the first quarter and turned out to be a blowout in its own right anyway.

    Just despicable on their behalf...

And also, TNT does have TBS where they should be able to do that, instead of running reruns of Family Guy or Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns lol...

I also complained to TNT, never heard back, as usual!

Thanks Anonymous. I didn't hear back either. But hopefully they got enough emails from all the Celtics faithful that they've learned their lesson, and won't do that again for ANY game, since all playoff games are already on a channel....

Tire of seeing Blake Griffin jump over a car in the slam dunk contest all star weekend on TV. He not the first to do that go to http://streetballblog.com/hook-mitchell-basketball-video . TNT Hook Mitchell is from Oakland California the Bay Area Baller then tell Blake Griffin
