Bias Film's the Real Deal

For anyone who missed "Without Bias" on ESPN last night, I'd highly recommend checking it out.  This wasn't a fluff piece whatsoever.  It was well thought out, and very detailed, and really struck a nerve with me watching it.

The film moves quickly, from scene to scene, constantly flooding the viewer with different images and sound bites.  I'd never seen so many random pictures of Len.

You're hit with a lot of emotions.  When they mention how the cocaine was more pure than typical cocaine and question how that ended up in their room, I instantly hate Brian Tribble.  When they discuss how the Celtics actually illegally drug-tested Bias and saw no sign of anything and how ex Celtics' GM Jan Volk says "even if we did see that I can't say we wouldn't have drafted him" I felt anger.  When Red is at the funeral for Bias in Maryland and says "I schemed for 3 years on how to get this guy....and I got him" I was distraught with sadness.

I'm usually not the best critic of anything but live basketball games.  I rarely watch any TV and am an infrequent viewer of movies.  But hats off to Kirk Fraser, the director of the film.  It hits you from so many different angles, so quickly, it's a must see for every Celtics fan.
