Pavlovic had only $1.5 million of this coming season's $4.95 million salary guaranteed him, but has accepted a $1.25 million buyout, giving the Suns an extra $250,000 savings in salary and another $250,000 saved from the luxury tax it would have cost. Pavlovic sought a buyout to explore interest from other teams, which start training camps in two weeks.
Danny's liked him in the past and he can shoot, which we need since Daniels really can't. I'd trust Sasha if an injury came about more than Giddens at this point.

Well, obviously he would help our bench. The thing is, is Marquis our backup PG?? I am not confident with that option

  2. It's a little unconventional, but a unit with Marquis bringing up the ball and House and Pavlovic on the wings might work. House would guard the opposing point guard though. Truth be told, how often when it counts will Rondo, Ray, AND Pierce all be on the pine? My main reason for bringing up this option is simply because Ainge has spoken of interest in Pavlovic in the past. When these players become available, Ainge often gives them a look. I'm pretty shocked that Swift wasn't signed fwiw.

Yeah not sold on this at all. Pierce and Pavlovic had some pretty heated trash talk in one of the games last season. I think Paul detests him and the Celts pass. Similar to how Ray feels about Bruce Bowen.

I didn't know Danny had shown interest in the past. And I also wonder why Swift hasn't been called yet. Is Danny's "basketball love affair" with him over?? :)
