Cs add Justin Bibbs, Jarrell Eddie to Las Vegas Summer League roster

The Boston Celtics plan to add a pair of former Hokies to their Las Vegas Summer League roster, according to the Boston Globe's Gary Washburn.

Jarell Eddie, (who played on a ten-day deal for Boston in January) and Justin Bibbs both played for Virginia Tech, with Eddie spending most of his time not with Boston in the G-League since graduating and Bibbs going undrafted last night.

Neither player is likely to make the regular roster, but both have a shot at making a two-way deal should they outperform last season's Kadeem Allen and Jabari Bird, or one of those two play their way into a spot deep on Boston's bench.
The rest of Boston's Summer League roster will likely include Allen and Bird, Semi Ojeleye, Guerschon Yabusele, and new draftee Robert Williams along with other prospects the Cs believe could be valuable depth pieces. Despite eligibility, Jaylen Brown, Jayson Tatum, Daniel Theis and Abdel Nader will not be among the Summer League players, the former two having outgrown the risk/development curve handily, and the latter two because of injuries.
