I don't know about you, but there were a couple moments where I thought Marcus Smart might have re- injured his thumb in Game One of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Between him constantly fidgeting with it in the first half, and a sequence that seemed to show his thumb getting stepped on, images of trying to make it out of this round with Smart's defense began to haunt the back of my mind.

Marcus evidently didn't suffer anything but discomfort, mercifully, and returned to action in the second half of Game One with a new wrap.
