Jaylen Brown still doubtful for tonight - will be a game-time decision

As of this morning, Jaylen Brown is still listed as doubtful for tonight's Game Two against the Philadelphia 76'ers.

Brown injured a hamstring in the seventh game against the Milwaukee Bucks and did not play at all in the series opener against the Philadelphia 76'ers. He did not practice with the team yesterday and tested the injured leg this morning at the team's shootaround.

Coach Brad Stevens has indicated that in the event that Jaylen does play tonight in Game Two, he will come off the bench. That would indicate that Marcus Smart would again start in the backcourt in place of Brown.

It appears that Stevens will evaluate Jaylen's ability to play prior to the game and make a final decision. The concern is that aggravating the injury by returning too soon could very well mean that Brown would be out of action for an extended period of time. Jaylen seems eager to get back into action, but that may be a gamble the Celtics don't wish to take.
