"Tom Brady's hand injury details revealed during Celtics Feb. 11 game" - Adam Himmelsbach
I realize I had promised to put the Paul Pierce/Isaiah Thomas tribute controversy to bed once and for all, but it is not my fault. Blame Boston Globe writer, Adam Adam Himmelsbach. His tweet below is just too damn clever to let go. So I am waking the saga up one more time, just for the fun of it.
Adam's tweet shows the ridiculousness of the rift. And with the Celtics miserable loss to the Philadelphia 76'ers last night, the timing for Himmelsbach's satire is perfect.
The tweet below is correct. Adam's tweet is so hilarious, it needed more attention. My readers know that I was all in with Paul Pierce wanting his own tribute and not sharing it with former Celtic, Isaiah Thomas. Fortunately, that dilemma was resolved quite nicely, and the Celtics game on February 11 will pay homage to only Pierce.
To consolidate two nation-wide controversies concerning two Boston teams into one brief tweet was sheer brilliance. And to my readers, I say "Good night to it!".

The full details of Tom Brady’s hand injury will be revealed at halftime of the Celtics’ Feb. 11 game against the Cavs.

This tweet should have gotten way more attention than it did. Hilarious.
