Celtics escape Denver with 111-110 win

The Celtics traveled to Denver Monday night hoping to end their road-trip on high note. Thanks to a Jaylen Brown three-pointer with 33 seconds the C's squeaked by the Nuggets with a 111-110 victory, finishing their road-trip at 2-2.

Boston was led by usual suspect Kyrie Irving who poured in 27 points, including this fancy finish:

Jayson Tatum, after a rough night against Golden State, recovered nicely contributing 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting while grabbing six rebounds.

Daniel Theis (11 points), Terry Rozier (eight points, nine rebounds, six assists) and Marcus Morris (14 points) provided a much needed spark off the bench for a shorthanded Celtics team that were without Marcus Smart and Shane Larkin due to injury.

The C's ended the night shooting 47 percent from beyond the arc (17-of-36), including 10 makes coming from their bench unit.

Denver was led by Nikola Jokic (24 points, 11 rebounds) and Will Barton (19 points, seven rebounds, seven assists).
