Ante Zizic not playing in his return to Boston?

It seems that former Celtics player Ante Zizic will not be in the lineup tonight in Boston. This would have been his first time back to Boston since being traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers this past off-season.

This is no surprise to anybody that Zizic has been demoted to the G-League because his play has been non-eventful for the Cavaliers. He is averaging 1.2 points and 1.2 boards per game while averaging only three and a half minutes. Zizic is yet to find his footing in the NBA during his rookie season after being a standout star over in Europe.

It seems that Jae Crowder will be the only former Celtic playing tonight because Isaiah Thomas is taking the day off after returning from injury last night. Thomas seemed to pick up right where he left off last night by scoring 17 points against the Portland Trailblazers in only 19 minutes.

It would be great to see Crowder, Thomas and Zizic play in Boston, however we might have to wait until the playoffs to see the match-up.
