Thomas with 32, Smart gets 21 on birthday and A.B. shows some hops but Clippers hold off Celtics (videos)

Isaiah Thomas scored team-high 32 points to go along with five dimes and three steals but the Celtics couldn't beat in the L.A. as the Clippers went on 43-14 run starting late in the 3rd quarter to win the game 116-102. Thomas did his best, shooting 10/18 from the field and won the matchup between him and Chris Paul who got 23 points, five assists and three steals.

Marcus Smart got 21 points on his 23rd birthday and was Celtics' second best scorer. Smart added three rebounds and three assists on the night, showing some nice behind-the-basket touch and hitting some tough shots. He also went 8/9 from the free throw line.

Avery Bradley played in the Los Angeles as he was a game-time decision and scored 14 points, including a one-handed dunk that DeAndre Jordan didn't want to be a part of. Let's hope Bradley can build off of this last games and get back to being Celtics second best scorer behind Isaiah Thomas.

Jaylen Brown got the start in place of Al Horford (elbow) and finished the night with eight points, five boards and four assists. Solid game for the rook as he's been playing the best basketball of his young career lately.
