Players and defensive highlights from big blowout win over Bulls (videos)



Isaiah Thomas scored game-high 22 points as he did not play a single minute in the 4th quarter of Sunday's game between Celtics and Bulls. Thomas was 9-for-14 from the field, hitting four threes on the night to go with two assists and three steals.

Avery Bradley played probably his best game since returning to the court and got 17 points (including 3/3 from the downtown), six rebounds and three steals for the Celtics. This time, it was Jimmy Butler and not Dwyane Wade who got blocked by A.B. The were no minutes restriction for the Avery in this game!


Al Horford did his thing, posting 12 points, seven rebounds and six dimes on the night as well as two blocks. Horford had the best plus/minus on the team as the Celtics were +25 with Big Al on the court.


Marcus Smart added 12 points off bench, being one of three bench players to get at least 11 points. Smart also got six rebounds, three assists and two steals.


Jaylen Brown finished the game with 11 points on 3/6 shooting from the 3-point line but it was his acrobatic lay-in from the 2nd quarter that gave him a standing ovation from the TD Garden's crowd.


Kelly Olynyk got himself a nice game and was just one rebound shy of a double-double as he scored 11 points, pulled down nine rebounds and dished out three assists on the night.


The Celtics' defense wreaked havoc on the Bulls on Sunday evening, forcing Chicago into 19 turnovers that Boston have turned into 28 points on the night. Watch some best defensive highlights from this game, including Avery's great block on Jimmy Butler.
