Jaylen Brown got the rookie treatment last night, his car got filled with popcorn
Jaylen Brown has been on tear since the All Star break, and apparently one of - or some of - his teammates wanted to bring him back to earth and remind him that he is still an NBA rookie. What better way to do that than to fill his SUV to the brim with some fresh popcorn?
Nothing like getting out of work and finding you car filled with some freshly popped Orville Redenbacher's. Kudos to Jaylen for taking it with a laugh because I myself would be out for blood. So who's responsible for the mess? As of this writing no one has claimed responsibility for #PopGate, so we'll have to go through the suspects ourselves:
Isaiah Thomas
The Celtics de facto captain seems a likely culprit. This kind of move seems right in the wheelhouse for a guy who was featured on a show called "Pranked" just a little over a week ago.
Amir Johnson
This wily vet was one of the first to the scene of the crime, and not only that - he made sure to get it on his Snapchat last night too. Note: "They got the rook". The best way to absolve yourself of wrongdoing is to be the first to blame someone else:

He's already planted the seed that it wasn't him, which makes me suspect him even more.
Marcus Smart
Listen, anybody with French Fry style hair has to be a suspect in any kind of workplace prank. You think it's a coincidence Smart recently cut his hair? Obviously if he still had the Fries on top he'd be the number 1 suspect, but while the trim might take him off some people's radar I'm not prepared to give him the benefit of doubt just yet.
Guerschon Yabusele
Coincidence that Yabusele comes to Boston for the first time this year and all of a sudden Brown's car is full of popcorn? I have my doubts. Anybody with the nickname "The Dancing Bear" is obviously a barrel full of laughs, and what better way to make an impression on your new team than fill up another rookie's car with Pop Secret? Not to mention that Yabusele and Brown are friends off the court, they were catching up before last night's game.

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if they were all in on it, but mark my words one of these guys was involved.
