Larry Bird and the Pacers sign recently waived Celtics draftee Ben Bentil

Good for Bentil. Hopefully R.J catches on with a quality team as quickly. Bird definitely does like to stick it to Danny whenever he has a chance. Most famously, after word came out that the Celtics would be adding David West via a sign-and-trade deal prior to the 2012 season, Bird swooped in and signed West. The Celtics would go on to make it to Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals without the all-star West, but one would think with West they would have made the Finals at least and very possibly given the KG era Celtics two titles.

Bentil obviously is no David West. He still could fill a role for the Pacers in today's NBA.
