Klay Thompson a game time decision for tonight, says ankle at 70%

After dropping 39 points, 10 threes, and my jaw numerous times while I watched in my recliner, Klay Thompson suffered an ankle sprain late in the 4th quarter against the Pacers Tuesday night. At first it looked bad enough that I assumed he would be out for a few games, but there is already talk of Thompson playing against the Celtics tonight and/or the Bucks tomorrow night.

Klay personally puts his ankle at 70%, and he is officially being called a game time decision for tonight. No Klay would definitely help the Celtics chances, as along with him Leandro Barbosa and Harrison Barnes are listed as questionable, which would leave the Warriors a little thin at the wing and backcourt.

I assumed that with a quick turnaround playing Milwaukee tomorrow, the Warriors may be a little cautious. But with the Barbosa and Barnes injuries, as well as what this streak means to their team, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see him at least give it a go tonight and see how it feels.

Either way, this team has been on a long road trip and has some injuries clustered around the same position, and they may just be ripe for the picking tonight against our Celtics. As ripe for the picking as a 23-0 team can be anyway.
