Isaiah Thomas battling minor knee tendinitis

Via Jay King Mass Live:
Isaiah Thomas has developed tendinitis in his left leg after getting bumped in the area last week but should be healthy enough to return to practice by Monday at the latest, according to Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens.

Thomas still hasn’t officially been ruled out for the final two preseason games tonight and tomorrow. However, fans shouldn’t expect to see much of #4 before the regular season tips off Wednesday against Philadelphia.

Steven’s has placed emphasis on the importance of rest throughout this preseason, so I wouldn’t anticipate much of the normal rotation players out there. It should still make for an entertaining finish watching the younger guys compete for roster spots.
