ESPN Forecast predicts Celtics will again finish 40-42, eighth in East
ESPN.com's NBA Summer Forecast series began today, with the release of projected records for each team in the Eastern Conference in 2015-16. Oddly enough, the ESPN panel has the Celtics winding up with a 40-42 record and the final playoff spot in the East--exactly what Boston did last year.
Celtics beat reported Chris Forsberg pegs the C's for a 44-38 record this season, and notes that last year's Forecast expected them to win only 28 games.
Over at ESPN Boston, Forsberg put together a similar panel made up of Celtics bloggers, myself included. On average, the local guys think Boston will win 45 games, which coincidentally is what I predicted:
