Celtics get spurred, lose 101 to 89

The Boston Celtics fell to the San Antonio Spurs 101 to 89 tonight at the AT&T center in San Antonio. I’m just saying.. We got smoked, you guys. Just not a good showing if you like this team’s chances in the 2015 playoffs, sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Obviously missing Isaiah Thomas is huge, but we got straight up outplayed in every facet of this game.

This game was decided from the first frame, but despite the Celtics' inefficiencies Evan Turner played phenomenal. ET finished with 17 points on 7 of 11 shooting from the field. Avery Bradley also played well tonight, chipping in with 7 buckets. It was just an all on onslaught from the Spurs, but Kawhi Leonard was so much better than anyone else on the court tonight. He put up 22 points and 7 rebounds, showing Celtic Nation why he was the Finals MVP last year.

The next game for the C’s is Sunday versus the Pistons at 6:00 PM.
