CLEVELAND CAVALIERS interested in Ray Allen (again)

While former Celtic Ray Allen hasn't decided if he'll play next year, the CAVALIERS are hoping that if he does decide to, it'll be in CLEVELAND.

CLEVELAND -- While the principal reason LeBron James visited Miami during his recent two-week rest period was to seek out warmer weather while he rehabbed strains in his left knee and lower back, he also had another item on his agenda.

During James' Miami jaunt, the four-time MVP met with free-agent guard and former Miami Heat teammate Ray Allen to try to appeal to the league's all-time leader in 3-pointers again about joining the Cavs this season, multiple sources told ESPN.com.

The aging 3 point king has kept relatively quiet this season, with some rumblings that he may even retire to spend more time with his family.

However, the CAVALIERS sure hope he could put off his family plans a little longer as they could really use his shooting and veteran presence coming off of their bench as they look to make an extended run in the playoffs this year.
