Celtics No. 27 in ESPN's NBA Power Rankings

The season-opening edition of Marc Stein's NBA power rankings on ESPN.com have just been released, and the Celtics find themselves at No. 27.  Only Utah (28), Orlando (29) and Philly (30) rank below Boston, with Milwaukee (26), Minnesota (25) and the Lakers (24) landing immediately above the Celtics.

Apparently Stein was not impressed with the C's 5-3 preseason, as he actually bumped them down one spot (behind the Bucks) from No. 26 in his training camp rankings a month ago.

Last year Jordan Crawford (pictured for his uniform number) and company began the year at No. 25 in Stein's rankings.
