Celtics invite Mike Moser to training camp

After a very solid showing in the Orlando Pro Summer League, the Celtics have decided to extend a training camp invitation to former Oregon Duck Mike Moser.

In five games Moser averaged 13.6 points and 4.8 rebounds while playing 26.2 minutes per contest.  He also shot 11-26 from beyond the arc (42.3%), not bad for a 6'8" forward.  From Mass Live's Jay King, Moser hasn't yet decided if he will accept the invitation, saying:

(The Celtics) were really excited about my progress, Danny Ainge had a lot of nice things to say about me.
I tried to play as solid as I could and show I could play multiple positions and stretch the defense with my range and defend. I think I did that for the most part.
Basically it’s just a waiting game. I’m a free agent so we will see what happens.

Considering the Celtics roster currently stands at 19 players (although Keith Bogans doesn't really count, and there are undoubtedly more changes to come), there may be better opportunities for Moser elsewhere.
