Celtics lose a close one to the Pistons; fall to 0-3 on the year

Despite trailing by double digits for most of the game, the Celtics came storming back in the fourth quarter and could see the win in front of them before the Pistons shut the door and won 87-77.

The Celtics were completely out-matched in the frontcourt with Detroit featuring Andre Drummond, Josh Smith and Greg Monroe. That trio alone almost out-rebounded the Celtics whole squad 37-29.

Avery Bradley had himself a game with 13 points, eight rebounds, three assists and three steals, but also had six turnovers. Kelly Olynyk had 15 points and six rebounds off the bench. Jeff Green was held to seven points on 3-5 shooting. Oh, and for those wondering what $6.2 million a year buys you this season, Keith Bogans and MarShon Brooks each saw their first minutes this season and scored a combined zero points on 0-3 shooting in 10 minutes of play total.

Boston's schedule does not get any easier with the Celtics playing in Memphis Monday.
