Anonymous Source Says Celtics Show 'No Inclination' to Move Rondo

There's throwing water on a fire, and then there's this: After rumors of trade talks about Rondo surfaced, first President of Basketball Operations Danny Ainge denied any talks, then we detailed why a trade to the Knicks wouldn't happen, and now an anonymous source appears to want to get in on the action.

From the USA Today

As for Rondo, a person with knowledge of the situation said the Celtics are showing no inclination to trade the seven-year veteran, who is still recovering from his own ACL tear in January. The person spoke to USA TODAY Sports on the condition of anonymity because of the private nature of the situation.

It's unclear if the source is saying that he's untouchable, or if the Celtics aren't just looking to trade Rajon Rondo in an effort to bottom out as some had speculated at in the beginning of the season. Or if the source is just Danny Ainge wearing a Kane mask (which would look something like this). But one thing is clear: For the moment, Rajon Rondo isn't going anywhere.
