Celtics don't need Kevin Garnett for Bobcats, win 105-88

Just under a week ago the Celtics played the Charlotte Bobcats, the worst team in the league, and lost. Badly. It was expected to be a different story tonight, and the C's delivered.

The Celtics were missing Kevin Garnett tonight but still paid the Bobcats back in kind, handing them a 17 point loss 105-88.

After struggling to put the 'Cats away early, they came out in the second half to blow them away. Paul Pierce needed only 23 minutes to lead the team in scoring with 14. He was one of six players to score in double figures. Shavlik Randolph also had an impressive game with 6 points and 8 rebounds.

Kevin Garnett's status is uncertain with a groin injury. Obviously always a concern with a veteran. He will hopefully be able to play this Monday against the Miami Heat.
