Does Rondo's streak have a home court advantage?

33 games and counting...
Rajon Rondo had no trouble extending his string of consecutive double digit assist games to 33 this afternoon.  In fact, he even dropped his tenth dime before halftime.  I am a huge fan of the streak, and I have a sneaking suspicion that the home team's official scorekeeper is as well.

While at the Garden over the past couple weeks I've noticed Rondo credited with several questionable assists.  A perfect example came today with 2:50 to go in the second quarter.  Rondo passed the ball to a covered Jason Terry at the 3 point elbow; Terry pump faked his defender off his feet, took one dribble past him, and knocked down a 15-foot jumper.  Assist number nine for Rondo.  Hmm...

So far this season Rondo is averaging an impressive 11.5 assists per game on the road, but a whopping 15 APG at home.  Admittedly it is a very small sample, but I don't think it's a coincidence either.  Mark my words: When Rondo's spectacular streak finally does come to an end, it will be away from the friendly confines of the TD Garden.
